What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love encouraging students to achieve the best they possibly can. Tutoring is a very rewarding experience when you know you can bring out the skills in your students which they didn't know they had, helping them in achieving their goals and dreams.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths revolve around tailoring unique learning styles for each student, depending on the strengths and weaknesses of the student. As a recently graduated high school student, I am well aware of the hurdles surrounding maths. Being able to connect with the student as someone who has recently surpassed the hurdles of maths myself, is something I believe not every tutor has the capabilities to do. Weaving that with my prior experience as a Maths and English tutor for Kumon, I have the ability to adapt my teaching style to every student in both group and individual settings.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the most essential thing a tutor is capable of doing is ensuring the student leaves a session confident with what they have learned. A tutor should be able to go above and beyond to explain a concept or give practice questions dependent on the way the student learns, to ensure that the sessions are completely beneficial to the student.

About Kashvie
Individualised English and Maths Support
Kashvie brings extensive experience as a teaching assistant, guiding students from primary through to senior high school in both English and Mathematics. She has worked one-on-one with learners to ensure they fully grasp key concepts before moving forward, tailoring her explanations to suit different learning styles. Her ability to adapt her approach helps students not only achieve their academic goals but also build confidence in challenging areas.
Organised Approach with Clear Progress Tracking
This tutor stands out for her meticulous organisation—she promptly marks worksheets and maintains clear, accessible progress reports for each student. Parents can feel assured that their child’s development is closely monitored, with strengths celebrated and any difficulties addressed straight away. By guiding students through corrections rather than simply giving answers, Kashvie ensures lasting understanding and improvement.
Motivational Learning Environment
Kashvie’s sessions are designed to keep students engaged and motivated throughout the lesson. Drawing on her interests in languages and reading, she often finds creative ways to connect subject material to real-life interests. Her background in achieving high academic results herself allows her to relate well to students’ ambitions while fostering a supportive atmosphere where curiosity is encouraged and persistence rewarded.
