What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like supporting students and seeing them improve over time, and I enjoy figuring out what works and what doesn't with each particular student, meeting them and learning more about what unique strengths and challenges they have is my favourite part of tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I had always struggled with mathematics growing up, and have always had a rocky path of ups and downs learning it. I believe this experience, of going from failing Math Methods 1&2 to getting a scaled 45 study score in Math Methods 3&4, has helped me understand topics as a whole rather than just how to solve problems. This in turn allows me to explain concepts in ways that make sense, and help struggling students understand them and get better at maths beyond just memorizing questions and answers.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is motivate them to get better at the subject, since tutoring is a two way effort in which both the student and the tutor have to work towards the common goal of learning and improving.
