What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy the most in tutoring is the fact that I help someone. I love to see the smile on their face when they achieve good results or understand something that previously they did not. I like to explain things in a simple, easy way that students understand because I feel textbooks tend to explain the same thing in a much more complicated and scary way.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient, hardworking and I never give up. I tailor my lessons to the specific needs of each student and adjust to their unique style of learning. I communicate with them to make personalised lessons according to the topics they would like to practise, and try multiple approaches to explain topics and questions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be there for them each week, listen to them, understand and help them not just in the given subjects but in general life as well.

About Anita

Academic

I placed 13th in Hungary in the country round of the most famous Mathematics competition in Year 10. I moved to Australia with my family and finished Year 11 and Year 12 here. I was awarded the Subject Award from Specialist Mathematics and Health in Year 12 for having the highest result in these subjects in my school, and I also got an award from Griffith University (Make It Matter award) for my continuous top results from my subjects. I achieved A-s on all my External exams. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business/ Bachelor of Mathematics double degree at QUT.

Personality

I have a very positive, enthusiastic personality. I believe everyone can achieve their goals with hard work and the right support, and I'm here to help students fulfil their potential and be the best version of themselves. I am calm, encouraging and supportive, and I love working with other people, especially children.

Work experience, hobbies

I was tutoring a Year 7 student from Maths in Year 10, mainly from Algebra. I also volunteered at a summer camp, a marathon and other events. In my free time, I like to crochet, draw, paint or read.
