What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I believe that the most rewarding aspect of tutoring, regardless of topic, is witnessing a student's growth over time. In a classroom, it can be difficult for every student to receive individual attention, but tutoring allows me to tailor my teaching strategy and pace based on individuals' learning preferences. Whether it's breaking down complex theory, using real life scenarios or interactive exercises to foster active learning, I love finding the best method that a student can use to comprehend and apply new material.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is my ability to explain complex concepts in a manner that allows students to digest information effectively. Furthermore, I strive to be patient, understanding the importance of students inquiring about gaps in their knowledge and working through challenges at the speed which works for them, which helps construct their confidence and motivation. Finally, I prioritise building strong relationships with my students, promoting a supportive environment that makes learning engaging and exciting.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that a tutor's most vital role is to create a structured learning environment, while enabling student's confidence and self-growth through clear, methodical explanations and a thorough understanding of the learning outcomes and subject material. I also think it is essential to equip students with the best study skills and routine that should be utilised during tutoring but also at home, so that learning can optimally occur on a regular basis.
