What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy most seeing students click to ideas. By this I mean I enjoy seeing them coming to an understanding of a topic or idea and thus being able to complete tasks on their own with ease where they once may have had struggles or confusions. As an extension of this I really delight in watching students progress over time and meeting the goals they had for themselves, I enjoy seeing their accomplishments and their confidence grow as they do so. I appreciate being able to be a part of and an influencer in their journeys.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a critical thinker, organised and a hard worker, I am willing to put as much time and effort into things as are needed, whether this may be planning sessions or finding new ways to approach teaching a topic a student may be struggling with. I am also articulate with my words and thus I'm able to phrase things in a way that is simpler and easier to understand. As well as this I have patience and I'm a deep lover of learning, I wish to inspire this love within others too and enjoy watching students learn. I am also reliable and consistent.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Helping students to learn and progress in a way which suits their learning style and ways of thinking is an important thing tutors can do for students. If a tutor can adapt to this I believe the student will learn both with more efficiency and more enjoyment. This enjoyment is also of great importance to help students come to a love of learning, in all its stages and ups and downs and to value the hard work that is often needed along the way. I believe the skills and work ethic which can be instilled through tutoring can set the student up, not just for the classroom, but also for life beyond.
