What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students gain understanding and improving their problem solving skills. It is also nice when students gain self confidence and curiosity about the subject.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am empathetic and a good listener so I am able to get a good feeling of what level of understanding my student is at, and I can tailor my explanations to the student. My work experience in customer service, tutoring high school students, and tutoring in a university setting (science labs), has given me the communication skills needed to explain mathematics ideas in a clear and simple to understand way.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor should make their students feel that they are in a supportive, safe space, and that there are no stupid questions. They should be able to demonstrate how to solve problems by example, gradually building up the student's confidence to do these problems on their own.
