Zi Fei is currently a first-year student at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), pursuing a dual degree in Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and Bachelor of Arts (English and Music). This academic path provides him with a solid foundation in pedagogy and content knowledge, preparing him to effectively teach and engage students across a range of subjects effectively. The combination of education and arts equips Zi Fei with the skills to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning in both academic and creative fields.
While serving two years of military service in Singapore, Zi Fei dedicated his weekends to volunteering as a Lead Early Childhood Teacher with the Etonhouse Community Fund. In this role, he enriched the educational experiences of young children by creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a nurturing learning environment, and collaborating with other educators and parents to support each child's development. This experience honed his ability to connect with children, understand their unique needs, and create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Zi Fei holds a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering from Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore, where he completed a three-year course. This qualification has given him a strong technical background and a deep understanding of scientific principles.
