What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

There are so many things I love about tutoring. Firstly, I enjoy creating individualized curriculum that highlights students' strengths and targets areas of growth. I love being able to experience a student's growth and development of skills when tutoring. Also, tutoring can be fun if you make it fun! Some students learn the best through playing, and that is something that can always be incorporated into tutoring sessions.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm a highly skilled educator with many years of experience and a master's degree as a reading specialist. I have tutored for many years, most clients being students I had in second grade and stayed with until middle school. Not only do I have experience with students with disabilities, I also have worked with students for advanced test-prep and enrichment. I have a wide range of skills that make me a very strong and valuable tutor.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is highlight their strengths as a learner. I don't want students to think they need a tutor because they need help and feel badly about their current academic performance. I want students to have control over their learning when it comes to choices, activities, and material. Students should enjoy tutoring because sessions should be tailored to their individual strengths, areas of growths, and interests.
