What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I am studying Secondary Education at University. Tutoring has given me opportunities to put myself out there, and develop my own skills in becoming a teacher. I love that tutoring helps students with individualised support to their particular needs, which schools generally do not provide. Building confidence in the student and being able to see them thrive academically is important to me, and I do my best to achieve that by providing encouragement and support wherever I can.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Having recently completed Year 12 VCE in 2024, I understand how difficult it can be to fully understand concepts taught in school. My particular approach to tutoring is developing learning strategies that work for the student’s individual needs. Each student has various strengths and weaknesses that need to be accounted for when finding the right method that works for them. I have tutored VCE Health and Human Development for the past year, and now specialise in tutoring that along with Mathematics and junior English. In recent years I have held various leadership positions in school.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
My goals for my students is to develop confidence and a love for learning. This is done through consistent communication between the student, their parents, and myself. I believe that it takes communication and shared understanding for one to succeed in their goals.
