What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Helping kids that are too shy or insecure to reach out for help in class, kids that have been made to feel inferior because of their lack of understanding or their inability to keep up with the rest of their peers. I want to help reassure those kids, that receiving tutoring does not mean that they aren't as capable as those around them, rather they just need a proper lending hand to help them reach their full potential.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am not bothered by being asked to explain things more than once and will continue to explain something if I sense that someone does not fully understand but is too shy to ask. I am able to quickly grasp someone's learning pace and can help cater to that easily through the way I teach.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Boosting a student's confident because often times, the students who seek out tutoring are embarrassed to tell others that they receive tutoring out of fear of being judged as less intelligent but when those kids come to a tutor for help, the best thing that a tutor can do for them is to encourage them so that as they progress into their schooling years, they are confident enough to raise their voices and ask for help when they don't understand. Also, helping a student figure out how to study, in a way that suits them and catering to their needs.

About Shatha
About me!
My name is Shatha and I graduated school last year with an ATAR of 95.40. I have struggled in the past before and it was thanks to my tutors that I was able to do well in school so I wish to be able to do the same for students in similar positions. Maths, Biology, Chemistry and English are subjects that I have a very strong grasp on and am certain that I will be able to help any child in these areas!
