What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing people improve over time and watching their confidence grow as they start to enjoy learning. I've often helped my peers with difficult concepts at university and school by adjusting my approach to fit their individual learning styles, whether that's using examples, having discussions, or drawing diagrams. It's really fulfilling to see someone work through a challenge and become more motivated to keep going. I'm excited to bring this kind of support and encouragement to future tutoring sessions.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths as a tutor include my organisation, adaptability to different learning needs, and strong academic skills. Being organized helps me manage time and plan lessons effectively, while my academic strengths allow me to simplify complex topics. When helping peers with difficult concepts at university or school, I adjust my approach to suit their learning style (through examples, discussions, or visuals), which I believe I can bring to tutoring. I'm also patient, a good listener, and committed to making students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to build their confidence by ensuring they truly understand the material and concepts of a topic. A crucial aspect of achieving this growth is creating a supportive environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes and feel comfortable in the learning process. I also believe it's important to adapt lesson plans to suit the student's needs and learning style. Good tutors help students become more independent and motivated learners.
