What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The aspect of tutoring I enjoy the most is helping students truly enjoy and deeply understand the subjects they are learning.
Having a deeper understanding of the content and its uses makes learning a more engaging experience, and being the one that help students realize this is very rewarding for me. Tutoring would be a fulfilling career for me, as I would be able to help students not only succeed academically but also develop a lifelong love for learning, knowing I contributed to their success.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My first strength as a tutor would be my ability to effectively reduce complex concepts into simpler ones, which was a comment from many during my informal tutoring experience at school.
Additionally, my strong academic background, demonstrated by my ATAR of 99.75, equips me with the understanding needed to tutor hard concepts effectively.
Finally, I would be deeply committed to the tutoring role, as it would be very fulfilling for me to be able to help students succeed in, and love learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things I consider a tutor can do is explain subject(s) and provide support in a way that is tailored to the individual student.
In my experience, many students seek tutors for subjects they do not fully understand yet. As every student learns differently, an effective tutor would be able to alter their teaching style to cater for each student. This would help them not just truly understand the content, but also build confidence in learning, which I believe are vital for helping them succeed.
