What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The role of a tutor has the unique position in being able to accelerate a students' abilities, and see them excel as a result. I personally believe the most enjoyable aspect will be the professional and emotional stake that you hold in each individual success you had a part in. Additionally, I find it a privilege to, in many cases, complete reverse the course of a student's academic progess from negative to positive and in the meanwhile, boost their confidence and general happiness.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My ability to communicate to complex subjects and break them down into digestible amounts of information, particularly for struggling students, would be incredibly beneficial in a tutoring context. Furthermore, I think my emotional/professional stake within every students' success as mentioned earlier allows me to put 100% of my time and energy into ensuring it happens.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

With my personal experience and from what I have seen with friends, a tutor increasing a student's marks is only about 30% of the true benefit. What really changes, is your whole approach to learning. To be frank, I used be to near the bottom rank for math at my school, roughly 90/125. After going tutoring and experiencing success for the first time in my year 12, it gave me the confidence to ask questions in class, go ahead with content I was already comfortable with, and challenge myself, I mindset I want of my students. Thanks to this, I achieved rank ~25 by HSC time.
