What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy building a close relationship with the student to make them comfortable, and watching their improvement either in test results, motivation, enjoyment, or overall understanding. Being able to help students through any challenges they are facing is very rewarding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am able to build a close relationship to the student, to ensure they are comfortable and confident enough to ask for help, and utilise my tutoring to its fullest extent. I adjust my tutoring style to the student so they are able to learn in an efficient manner, and in a way that motivates them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe creating a comfortable environment for the student to thrive in, and being able to adapt to different students learning styles are among the most important things a tutor can do. Alongside this, a tutor should be able to explain topics in an interesting, yet simple way, whilst simultaneously pushing the students knowledge.

Emily makes silly mistakes when applying BIDMAS to more complicated questions. She needs to focus on “rewriting” sections of the question she has found the answer to, to ensure she doesn’t get confused. Mainly needs to work on answering questions step by step.
