What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Helping the students grow and develop holistically. I have a huge passion for teaching ever since I was a kid. I have always tutored my friends, and juniors at school and university level for various subjects.
I find it an extremely fulfilling profession, since every time I teach a student, I learn something new myself, which is extremely important.
Constant learning curve is crucial.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
1. Communication skills
2. Interpersonal Skills
3. Patience
4. Passion and Interest for teaching since childhood
5. Make the subject interesting and simpler to learn
6. Make the student understand that making errors is common and ownership of same is important.
7. Helping them polish their strengths and work on their weak areas.
8. Since I'm a student myself, I know what it's like, and I tend to understand them better.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Develop their love/passion for a particular subject/field. For young minds, effective tutoring/teaching is extremely important as it makes them aware of their career options and shapes them for good future prospects. When tutoring is improper, a student might quickly lose interest in a subject area which otherwise they may prove to be good at. I have learned this from my own experiences as a student, hence understand its importance in a student's life.

"1. May need a little more practice with the basics. Gets confused while shifting variables/terms from one side to other side of equation. 2. Makes mistakes with signs of integers "

He takes the right approach in solving for the answer when solving equations. Also, understands correctly what is asked of him in the question (very important; sometimes students may know all concepts and still solve for the wrong answer because they didn't pay attention to what is actually being asked in the question).
"1. Finn sometimes needs help with creating the right equation from the word problem (especially if the wording is tricky). 2. Sometimes makes silly mistakes while solving the equations (has the right approach in ming though) 3. Needs more practice with the tricky word problems overall (as the concept is new, not because he is weak)."
He seemed to have understood the basic concept of quadratic equations well from school lectures. Was able to solve for basic solutions as well with no help.

"1. Needed help for finding possible solutions where condition was given. 2. Needed fair help with few tricky word problems. (Nothing that can't be overcome with extra practice :))"

"Finn understands the concept of 3-D and takes a fair approach in solving questions. Quite focussed while I introduced him to Trigonometry, a topic which hadn't been covered in school yet. He got a good grasp of it first off. "
"Makes silly mistakes, for eg: not converting the length of all sides to a common unit (m or cm). Needs a little help with tricky questions, but understands well when logically laid out for him. Maybe remembering basic formulae and calculations will prove to be of great use to him, for instance: knowing the squares and square roots of basic numbers, basic geometry formula like area of circle, etc"
