I think the guidance is the most important part. Tutors are there to not only teach but to provide wisdom and guidance. In my experience throughout the years, when I taught year 11s I needed to help guide them to make better decisions. The reality is that we do not have full control of their academic journey, but we can help support their decisions that benefit them most.
