Good continuation on Division concepts covered in the previous lesson. Recalls previous concepts on addition / subtraction / multiplication.

Still needs help working through questions. Needs to practice working through the solution on his own more. Keep practicing algebraic questions to ensure knowledge retention, which will be a good foundation for Grade 3 next year.

Responded well to use of practical examples involving shapes (edges/vertices), ruler (cm/m) and measurement of water in cup (ml/L).

Level of focus was lower compared to the previous session - gets distracted from time to time. Did not complete homework properly, although following some revision appears to understand the concepts. Needs to put more effort into homework.

A little bit distracted today but we got through the topics ok - homework provided on Division to consolidate understanding. Feedback provided by Florian was that the tutoring is helping - we need to test whether that is the case with a more formal assessment.

Needs to continue to practice showing his workings when completing the question. It's understood that he did the homework mainly by himself this time. Although he got a few wrong when we went through the lesson it was evident he can get the answer, just needs to focus more on what the question is asking. Next lesson we will look to consolidate on the algebraic concepts explored thus far - the next homework will gauge where we are at in terms of progress. If there is time we will look to mix it up with some other topics (e.g. geometry, patterns, etc.)
