What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Helping kids to “get†an answer when it finally clicks after all of their hard work and they can understand it. I know how difficult and overwhelming learning something new can be or relearning something and thinking how on earth will I remember this and it gives me so much joy to help kids to do this.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Disciplined, understanding, organised and empathetic. Disciplined in keeping the child going with the work and keeping the tutoring session about tutoring. Understanding them and their struggles to find the best way to teach them. Organised to keep lessons running and flowing smoothly with no wasted time. Empathetic and being able to relate to them and connect to teach them in a way that suits them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Help them grow in their learning journey and increase their confidence as a student. By teaching them new things and being patient with them, a tutor can also teach them how to have faith in themselves and their knowledge so that they are then willing to pursue new ideas and have the resilience to keep trying to learn different things, no matter how hard they may seem.
