What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The most enjoyable part of tutoring is when the student understands a concept or a problem that had previously befuddled them. To be able to help a student in need and allow them to excel in their academic journey will not only support them in their path to reaching their dream career but will also imbue within them confidence that they can carry about themselves for the rest of their life.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my strengths as a tutor will be that I can relate to the struggles of the student and understand the pit falls that they may fall into whilst learning. Another, will be that I am quite creative and will often use unconventional techniques and curate a method of teaching that will be best understood by my students, this could include visual imagery and practical simulations for mathematics and physics. As for English I would read certain extracts with my students highlighting extracts that reflect didactic ideas, whilst having them also highlight other extracts that they find relevant.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is help the student understand a topic. This may sound intuitive however it is often majorly overlooked and replaced with acceptance or shear memorisation for the student. What I want is for my students is a true understanding of the subject, giving them the tools of learning so that they can approach the subject effectively and expertly, ensuring that they can reach their full academic potential.
