What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Reflecting on my prior experiences as a tutor, I found myself enjoying the reward of seeing my students grow academically but also mentally in the sense that through becoming more motivated to study and learn, they have become hardworking individuals as well. In contributing and recognising the personal growth of my students, I found myself sharing my love for teaching and creating engagement though personalised teaching styles. At the heart of tutoring, I believe seeing my students personally develop and find confidence in themselves is most enjoyable.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My key strengths as a tutor is my ability to adapt to different students and my strength to engage students to motivate them to learn. My previous experiences in homework help classes and private tutoring have exposed me to a range of students with different needs and capabilities. Although I found adaptability challenging at first, I began to develop this skill and feel more confident in catering to a variety of students across multiple learning levels to help them maximise and achieve their potential.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

At its crux, tutoring provides students with the support that they need. As a tutor, it's an imperative to consider a students way of thinking and to really adapt to their learning strengths and weaknesses to support the student through their learning challenges. In doing so, students will be able to feel more confident in their learning abilities and gain more motivation and curiosity to progress with their learning journal.
