What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
From my own experience tutoring my younger sister, i've been helping her prepare for her selective exams, and what i've enjoyed most was when after I would explain something, such as a maths problem, when she wouldn't understand she would make sure to reach out again to me and i would be able to clear her doubts, which would make me feel fufilled as a teacher.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My main strengths as a tutor would be that i understand what it is like to be a student, and how they interpret things different to others. Simmilarly from experience i feel as though i have good patience, as when my sister takes a little longer to understand something i taught, it doesn't frustrate me in any way. Moreover i feel my biggest strength is that i enjoy seeing another person learn, and i feel happy about myself that i am the reason that they learnt something new.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
My priorities coming from the perspective of a student, is that i believe a tutor needs to ensure that the student needs to understand each step of the way. I believe that before anything new is taught that what has already been taught before must be consolidated knowledge without doubts as it otherwise leads to bigger doubts in the long term is fundamental knowledge is not understood to the fullest. To ensure this i believe a tutor must constantly check up on the student and test their understanding of topics to ensure they are following along well, without leaving gaps in their knowledge.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
