What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

There are several aspects I enjoy about tutoring. The biggest one being able to impart my knowledge and passion I have for the subject I teach to a student in order to help them achieve their best or inspire a student who may dislike the subject. When a student succeeds, knowing that I was the one who had an impact on their learning is a highly rewarding feeling.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strengths as tutor would be my 4 years worth of formal paid tutoring and 2 years of informal/unpaid mentoring and tutoring to students from primary school to 1st year university students. As I have tutored a vast range of students I understand the importance of being able to adapt to each individual as using the same formula for teaching every student is ineffective.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Important things a tutor can do for a student is helping or inspiring them when they are struggling with a concept in a subject they find hard or dislike. Being able to explain a concept in a way a student can visualise and understand it clearly is also important. Besides teaching, a tutor should be a person a student can connect or talk with like a mentor.
