I believe that my strengths are trying to get the student to not just repeat practice questions, but also try to understand the fundamental concepts being taught, as if you know those, you can figure out anything. A strong passion for mathematics
I am someone with a very strong passion for maths and the beauty that comes with it. This is something I hope to share with students, so they can develop a proper understanding of the subject.
Understanding of others
I was not always proficient in maths, or any subject when I was in middle school, getting very low grades. So I understand the struggle many students face with the subject, and I empathize with that and wish to fix the gaps in knowledge these students may have.
University study
I am currently studying a bachelor's degree in computer science with a second major in mathematics at UWA. Having completed the ATAR I know the specialist and methods syllabus in great depth, however I am also able to account for earlier grades, as I know the curriculum for them too.
