What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring, especially in mathematics, is the moment when a complex concept finally clicks for the student. I often help out my sister, who is in grade 10, and I feel It’s incredibly rewarding to help someone build their confidence in a subject that can be challenging, and to watch them progress. I also love how tutoring gives me the opportunity to continuously deepen my own understanding by finding new ways to explain complex ideas.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor lie in my ability to be patient and listen to the needs of the other person. This helps me to create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and make mistakes as they learn. I also have a strong understanding of the subject matter, particularly in mathematics as I secured 96% in my high school exams, completed Bachelors of Technology (Honours) and currently I am pursuing Masters of Information Technology. Lastly, I’m empathetic and genuinely invested in students' progress, which motivates me to find new ways to engage and support them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to foster confidence, provide clarity, and cultivate a genuine interest in learning. A tutor should explain complex concepts in simplified manner, guiding the student through challenging material in a way that makes it relatable. A great tutor can spark curiosity and help the student develop problem-solving skills that will benefit them in their upcoming years.
