What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love contributing in helping students develop and learn for the sake of improvement of the Earth's future in all aspects (technologically, economically, etc)
I have a passion of explaining things to people in general. I love making people understand what they to want understand in the most efficient manner.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am an energy resources engineering PhD student at UNSW with an ambition to dive into the world of academia and teaching. I have 2 years of primary & high school tutoring experience (both classroom & private settings - as for private tutoring, I am familiar with creating lesson plans)
I have always received compliments from teachers, friends and colleagues when it comes to my presentation skills. I have capabilities of:
- Clarity: I always strive in simplifying complicated concepts (as what Albert Einstein said, if a person can't simplify a complicated concept, that person doesn't have enough understanding in that particular concept)
- Being organised. Improvising might be impressive, but preparing scripts and materials before presenting/teaching/tutoring never fails to be effective
- Excitement towards curiosity
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To simply be there for the student.
Go through all the struggles of what that student has together.

Make sure to remember these: 1 kg = 1000 g 1 g = (1/1000) kg 1 km = 1000 m 1 m = 100 cm 1 litre = 1000 milliliters
Overall well with all topics covered this day.

Make sure to always remember the difference between area and volume. For Map Legends and Directions, make a habit of using the compass rose's cardinal directions (i.e. North, East, South and West) whenever the question asks for directions from A to B. E.g. "Walk South to reach location".
I believe she managed to capture the important concepts for all of the Year 3 Maths topics.
I believe she managed to capture the important concepts for all of the Year 3 Maths topics.
However, despite Ola captured the concepts, in order to excel exams she must have the habit of carefully reading questions, writing out workings and double checking the answers. That should be the key to excellence in Maths for Ola's case. She has so much potential. Other than that, please go over the exercises and homeworks that we went through, especially for Shapes and Measurements. For Shapes, perhaps watch primary-grade-friendly tutorials on understanding the concept of parallel lines and their application in shapes. And again, remember these: Make sure to remember these: 1 kg = 1000 g 1 g = (1/1000) kg 1 km = 1000 m 1 m = 100 cm 1 litre = 1000 milliliters

Needs to be improved: - The habit of reading questions carefully and avoid lazy-thinking by guessing and/or answering questions immediately. - Habit of writing out workings. Do not work out everything in the head.
