What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Tutoring provides a valuable opportunity to share knowledge and foster growth. Each session requires thoughtful preparation, and interacting with each student uncovers new dimensions of a topic. I find great satisfaction in witnessing students understand challenging concepts and apply them to solve problems or answer questions.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My greatest strength as a tutor is my patience. With experience tutoring a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I engage in friendly conversations to identify students' challenges. I'm quick to learn new topics, especially in math and computer science, and can assist with unfamiliar syllabus material. I excel at connecting concepts to real-world applications and simplifying them. Iβm dedicated to building studentsβ confidence.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important part of being a tutor is being friendly and available so students feel comfortable asking questions about what they find difficult. A tutor can either boost a student's confidence or lower it. Tutors need to encourage students to believe in themselves and to understand how each student learns at their speed. Tutors should also help students improve their problem-solving skills and keep track of their progress.
