What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the process of seeing students become more confident and experience a real change and improvement in their grades. I believe that in most cases, students who are struggling to improve their grades just have not found a style of learning that works best for them or had a teacher who has paid attention to their needs. I believe my greatest strengths are my experience, and personal learning style. I have over 4 years of experience tutoring a variety of subjects in both class and one-on-one settings. Throughout this time I have worked with a variety of different students and learnt to develop tutoring style to work for each individual. I also personally learn by taking my time to properly understand concepts rather than rote learning. This allows me to explain and simplify content in a way students can understand. My undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in pure mathematics also help achieve this.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the greatest and most positive impact a tutor can have on a student is to build their confidence and introduce them to studying techniques so that they can self learn and achieve great marks on their own.
