Has worked and changed the habit of doing it all in his head, and shows his working out more which is really good.
Even though english went well, some of the mistakes coudl've been prevented by more the use of more reading outside tuition time, which even then wasn't a big factor as those mistakes are common during exam conditions.

Did really well in English as well but would need to spend more time reading as it will improve his spelling and comprehension. Despite being very strong and quick in math, we could aim towards seeing faster, links and shortcuts, but that will take time and is not very necessary yet anyway
