What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to teach in a one-on-one situation, focusing my attention on one willing student, and waiting for that moment when everything clicks. That moment is really rewarding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My enthusiasm to teach and patience. I feel it's always important to encourage your students and let them know when they are doing things correctly. My friendly demeanour helps put students at ease and as I've just graduated I'm able to empathise with their struggles and show strategies to deal with them. I also have one year of experience of tutoring through other Tutoring opportunities.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I feel it's important to build an easy rapport with students at the start, making the student feel at ease, putting the student in a position where they would feel comfortable asking questions, for example, and getting a complete understanding of the material at hand.
