What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Above all, I enjoy helping students truly understand and develop enthusiasm for subjects that they otherwise might find boring! It is very fulfilling to make learning fun and exciting for students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
- I am able to break down concepts into bite-size pieces and explain them clearly and concisely.
- I am able to explain concepts using many different analogies, so I can cater to each student's unique way of understanding new ideas.
- I can relate well to students of all ages and backgrounds.
- I am organised, and I enjoy planning and helping students to stay accountable and manage their time wisely. I am passionate about helping them find strategies which help them to learn more efficiently.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
1. The most important thing a tutor can do is make themselves approachable and relatable, so that the student feels comfortable and happy to ask questions (both inside and outside of tutoring sessions).
2. Secondly, helping to identify the most effective learning style and study routine for a student is extremely valuable for them.
3. As well, providing good, well-organised resources that the student can work off is the final most important thing a tutor can do for a student.
