What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As a tutor, I absolutely enjoy breaking down complicated concepts to students at the most elementary level, and follow this technique in my day-to-day life as a student as well. If I can manage to teach mechanics to a 6th grade student, then I will have accomplished my motto. Inspired by the famous scientist, Richard Feynman, this is the Feynman's Technique. It gives me pleasure knowing that this technique allows students to pan out any intricacies that they may encounter in their learning, which is why I want to practice tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor involve my individual teaching skills, ability to adapt to teaching styles based on in-person or online teaching, problem solving skills, schedule management and individualized instruction based on the student. I ensure that my teaching is tailored based on the student, as well as any preferences that they may have.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being a good tutor requires you to be a good listener. Without listening to problems that students may experience, the time spent for both the student and the tutor will be wasted. I take pride in my ability to allow students to communicate any struggles that they may have before starting. In addition, being engaging while teaching ensures that a student follows along and learns rather than just listen to the tutor, since there is a difference between both actions. Lastly, being patient and considerate for any student is key towards ensuring that students manage to successfully learn.
