What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to see the development within a young person. Seeing their skills being established and cultivated is both rewarding for a teacher, the student and their family.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think I am able to change my approach depending on the individual because everyone learns in different ways. I am also very patient and through my previous experience I am aware of how to engage with young people.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Ensure that the student feels valued and understood. Having patience to understand their needs and how they learn is essential. It is important to recognise the abilities and skills they do possess, not only the areas where they need improving, and validating the small wins, not just the big ones. Staying positive with them is also extremely important.
