What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I get to help students realise their full potential academically, even though they might lack confidence due to prior results. By teaching students in a way that adapts to their own learning styles and circumstances, they can learn more effectively and more flexibly.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I have experience adapting my teaching to various learning styles and paces, both in a classroom setting and in a one-on-one setting. I find that I break down larger concepts into simpler words that convey the base-level knowledge more effectively, for students learning a module for the first time. I organise my lessons strictly, with dedicated lesson plans per period of instruction, to maximise the value of allotted lesson time.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

To engage their student in what they are being taught. Often, it is easy for tutors to treat teaching as a rote-memory recitation of their materials, without actually using other analogies and connective methods that students benefit from. If a tutor is unwilling to invest energy into their lessons, a student likewise will gain little enrichment.
