What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Most of all I enjoy helping others, there's no better feeling than the lightbulb moment when you finally understand something and I enjoy helping people get to that point.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am an excellent communicator, in my work as a data analyst I've regularly had to explain statistics to people who don't have a mathematical background and I pride myself on being able to tailor my explanations to my audience. I am also someone who struggled with Maths in school but succeeded in getting a first-class Master's degree in Mathematics so I understand the frustration of not picking something up immediately but know that with practice and hard work, everyone can achieve the grade they want.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things a tutor can do is be patient and supportive, this helps the student feel confident and makes the learning process more enjoyable. Another is offering different ways of learning, not everyone learns in the same way so it's important to modify your teaching style depending on the student. Finally, it's important for the tutor to identify the areas the student needs more help in.
