What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the human connection and the continuous knowledge that can be learned and shared through the different tutoring sessions and people that I would get to meet. I love to teach and love to see someone learn to love a certain topic or subject, there is a certain joy in sharing understanding .

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am often described as an observant and good listener, which allows me to quickly spot the difficulties that students may have but also allowing the student to freely open up and share what might be a possible difficulty without feeling awkward or ashamed. I come from a highly creative and cultural background which makes me adaptable to different lifestyles and different groups of people. Being an INTJ I am also a highly logical person that is always looking out to gain more information and know more.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As i was mentoring students at Curtin i got to realise that being a form of support not only academically but also forming a relationship with the student is the most important thing a tutor can do. Providing room for human connection and cheering the student on .
