What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

I enjoy the nature of teaching, helping students understand the concept that they might be struggling with. I believe that tutoring is very rewarding, it helps connect with certain individuals and helps them understand a concept that would have otherwise caused stress. Furthermore, building positive relationships can lead to strong mentor-student connections that may extend beyond academics and help them in other aspects of their life. By being a tutor, making a positive impact is also extremely important, which helps students overcome challenges and succeed academically.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

I have a passion for teaching, where I am inspired to help and dedicate myself towards achieving their goals. I am well organised, allowing enough time to plan lessons ahead and track students' progress to ensure the tutoring sessions are effective. Having previous experience as a piano tutor, I have understood the nature of teaching and how to communicate with different students in accordance to their own preference, and hence will be able to transfer that experience to the field of maths and chemistry, which will make it easier to explain complex concepts in a way that is easily understood.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

Building trust with the student is extremely important. It is the fundamental step in building a comfortable learning environment where students feel valued and respected, leading to their progress. Showing up consistently and with the right attitude as a tutor can go a long way, especially in the eyes of a student who feels that their teacher is motivated and genuinely interested to teach them, leading to higher productivity. Identifying the individual needs of each student can also help them progress, with personalised plans in use to address specific challenges and promote academic growth.
