What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like explaining concepts to people. It genuinely makes me feel good to explain maths or physics to someone or help them understand a concept. I also really enjoy seeing someone's progress and seeing that moment when they get it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Due to my four years as a crew trainer at McDonald's and some past tutoring experience, I believe I understand the techniques of explaining and teaching something to someone. Through these years, I have learned how to teach different people and learning styles. I also think my strength is that I know when to step back and start at the basics to build to a new understanding.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is make them believe in their capability within a subject, as my English teacher did for me. Many people have an attitude that they cannot do something or are just not good at it seeing that confidence in themselves change is the best thing. And also to be able to foster critical thinking for schooling and general life, not just knowing the answer but being able to find it and build on it.
