What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing a student progress in real time as they grasp the content explained to them. The satisfaction of contributing to students achieving their academic goals is invaluable and I want to become an active part in assisting students on their academic journeys. Additionally, being able to teach students concepts refines my own understanding of them, thus providing me a greater incentive to teach and share knowledge.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My patience and ability to simplify and break down concepts into smaller, easily digestible steps that can be adapted to any question or case study. I enjoy taking my time to explain fundamental concepts by applying them to topics that students may find interesting or more enjoyable. By doing this, I want students to deeply understand what they are learning by making concepts more relevant and memorable to them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Firstly, I believe making studying more easily accessible to a student by incorporating their interests into the learning process is an effective way to entice them to learn and become motivated to study on their own. I find teaching a student how to learn and how to approach solving problems rather than teaching them what to learn refines their critical thinking skills and allows for an easier studying process. Lastly, catering towards the different strengths and weaknesses of each student by providing them with personalised feedback is also very important for students to grow as learners.
