What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I mostly enjoy the satisfaction that tutoring offers once a student understands the topic that is taught. When taught well, the benefit it brings to the student is spectacular, and watching them succeed better than before really creates a sense of content for myself. In terms of getting tutored, tutoring is enjoyable for the student as it allows for the student to get ahead, along with being and feeling more prepared for future tasks, building up a sense of self-motivation which allows them to succeed in assessments.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor I believe that I am able to teach the vital aspects of the topic and proper exam technique efficiently, so that the student himself is left with more time to revise and practice what him/her has learnt. To effectively teach a student, a tutor must be able to communicate key concepts in different ways until the student understands it; I believe I possess that quality. To maximise the students marks, one must educate them on the necessity of learning for the betterment of their future, something I have yet to achieve through formal experience, and am ready to accomplish.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor must able to engage a student in his teachings, such that the student does not feel that attending a weekly tutoring as a burden, but more of an enjoyable way of learning. A tutor must also be able to understand the person he is teaching, and his/her way of interpretation - this is a vital attribute that must be present in a tutor as not everyone has similar strengths and weaknesses and tutors should find a different approach instead of being frustrated. A tutor should also be encouraging, and never lose hope on a student; perseverance is key.
