What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to explain concepts that people often have trouble with in school; once the concepts are simplified by someone who went through the same struggles in that area, it’s truly a eureka moment for the students. I want people to know that they’re not bad at the subject, but that if the subject is explained better to them, they can do anything.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I’m easy to get along with, I’m very patient, and I truly sympathize when someone is stuck on something. I won’t just go zoom concepts like I’ve seen most people do, but I’ll truly pinpoint the stuff that folks get stuck on. I can tutor for calculus (having passed Calculus BC and AB in highschool), general maths (passed Math1040 in UQ with distinction and am currently taking MATH1052), and English (passed AP English in highschool). Furthermore, I’ve received a score of 1310 on my SATs. L

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Don’t make the student feel stupid and give them time to ask questions! Never flip through topics without giving the student time to think.
