What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I love about tutoring is the satisfaction you get once your student/s succeeds, whether that be small such as grasping an idea they've been struggling with, or a big achievement such as a strong test result. It makes the hard work and effort worth it. Seeing the student/s proud of their work is everything.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I am a motivating tutor, who can work well with all types of students, adapting my teaching style to suit their learning style. I am kind and compassionate, which helps me to more deeply understand tutees and their problems, whilst also being patient, which all tutors must be in order for students to learn and retain information. I studied hard throughout all years of high school, so I believe I can provide excellent study tips and habits, but also provide mentoring beyond just academic success.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that tutors must be role models for their students, both academically and in general circumstances. Being punctual, strong communication and a hard work ethic are all apart of these characteristics that make up a good role model for a student. Aside from being academically strong, tutors must also be able to understand their tutees problems from their point of view, and solve problems on the go. Whether that be changing the teaching style or looking at the question from a different approach, tutors must be able to adapt to the environment to ensure the most efficient learning.
