What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring someone can be challenging but also fulfilling, especially when you manage to spark someone's interest in a certain subject matter. It helps me to share my enthusiasm in the areas of maths and biology, which I'm very passionate about. By tutoring, I can also get to meet new and interesting people I would have never met otherwise. I once built a relationship with someone I barely knew in school through a teacher asking me to tutor them, and he remains one of my closest friends to date. Seeing others succeed and having played a part also just feels wonderful.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My ability to effectively communicate and pass on information. By recognising that each student has their own unique strengths and weaknesses, I can adapt and bring about different tailored approaches for different people. Furthermore, my expertise in my subjects areas provide me with the necessary knowledge and techniques that I can pass on to my students to guide the in their educational endeavours.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor should always be there for a student. Work with them collaboratively and help them figure out what works best for them. Don't just force your ideas and methods on them as that leads for nowhere. This provides a positive learning environment for you and the student. Providing practice activities and also giving back constructive feedback to the student is vital for them to grow as learners.
