We need to go through the practice tests and make sure he understands the examinable material. Ideally, we should go through the course so far and just fill in little gaps.

She needs to make sure to go slowly and not skip steps, and to go over her work once she has finished. Obviously, in a test, this is not always possible due to time constraints. She needs to learn how to take tests effectively, I would recommend practice tests more than just textbook questions as she knows the content reasonably well. Also needs to brush up on basic algebra, she understands the content but makes silly errors.
