What I enjoy most about tutoring is the realization that I possess the academic knowledge to empower others through education. Education is a powerful tool, not only for academic growth but also for personal development. Being able to share this tool with others, witnessing their growth and understanding expand, and knowing that I\'ve contributed to their journey toward success is immensely fulfilling. Additionally, she asks questions when she is unsure, which is great and signifies that she feels comfortable with me helping her.
In terms of improvement, I would suggest that Alysha needs to memorize or learn her multiplication tables. For example, when we did 8 x 5, we had to draw the groups and lines and then count them. While memorizing times tables can be challenging at first, it is essential for her progress. I suggest she start by memorizing one table at a time, such as the 7's.

She effectively applied examples to solve problems and completed her homework accurately I gave her last week, demonstrating her progress and engagement with the material. Overall, the lesson was productive and reinforced her foundational skills.
With division, we had to draw lines and groups to visualize the process. I strongly urge Alysha to memorize her multiplication tables, as this will help her understand and perform division more effectively.
