What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As a student I always asked many questions in class to clarify my understanding of the topic at hand, this also allowed for my curiosity towards teaching as a profession to blossom. I would become more and more intrigued on how these teachers are able to know so much and explain so well. At the same time, many of my friends would turn to me upon facing difficulties such as upcoming tests and assignments, in need of help with complicated topics that they were confused with. My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe due to my past experiences in social environments as well as informal tutoring, one of my biggest strengths as a tutor is the ability to effectively communicate and carry out the explanation of subject matters relatively easily. I also believe that I am someone who is able to keep students engaged and motivated by not just teaching them what to study but also why to study it, in order to develop curiosity within minds. I believe that I\'m someone who has a large commitment to ongoing professional development and like to take in criticism and use it to fineproof their ability to teach.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe a tutor should teach a student how to love a subject instead of do it. For a student to be able to realise why they adore the subject and why they are studying it in the first place. A tutor should try their best to allow their students to feel like they are in a safe place, where they can ask any questions and feel free without feeling judged. Being able to show how you think to your students allows you to bridge gaps in their learning and areas where they wouldn\'t be able to form connections by themselves, allowing them to see through your viewpoint can benefit them greatly.
