What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is that feeling of great satisfaction you get when a student finally understands a topic they have been struggling on for a while. There\'s nothing more gratifying than witnessing a student, who initially didn\'t even know where to begin a problem, tackle that same problem unassisted.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths lie in my capacity to adapt and learn on the spot when confronted with unfamiliar topics. Additionally, I excel in employing effective teaching strategies, such as Socratic questioning and metacognition, to guide students through challenging subjects with thorough understanding.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most crucial role of a tutor is to assist students in acquiring the ability to develop their own problem-solving skills. This empowers them to independently navigate through challenges without the ongoing need for external guidance, as they develop the necessary skills to tackle problems on their own.

We have already gone over many of the topics she will learn throughout grade 10 so the hope is that when things come up in class she will already be familiar with the material and pick it up much easier.
To cover the widest range of topics we only went over each one at surface level so when it comes up in school she will be expanding upon her understanding rather than having to grasp something entirely new.

Important that she keeps up to par with the topics she learnt this year as many of them carry over and get built upon in the next years.
built on our last session and now has a strong understanding of all the topics we have gone over.

He was unable to access any review material or school worksheets so it is very hard to know what exactly will be on the exam. I went over the stuff we could find and some of the fundamental topics covered in grade 9 but there is sure to be stuff I wasn't able to go over on his exam.
