What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy working with students and helping them to do their best during school. While in Year 12, I had help from a tutor, and the impact they have on learning and improving at school is amazing. Throughout any year of school, being able to watch a student learn and do well at school due to my help is a reward in itself!My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very good at maths and engineering. I am a good problem solver and would help my classmates when they got stuck at school with harder questions. I am also able to quickly learn new ways to problem solve or answer a question if I have never come across it before. Both of my parents are principal\'s of schools, and I have had a fair bit of (non-official) tutoring of some of their students. I feel like I am able to get along with students well, make a good, friendly connection, and able to encourage them to ask me questions and get help.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I feel like encouraging them to have questions is really important. Without questions it\'s hard to know what they need help on, or what they need to improve on. So having the ability to make a good first impression, be kind and caring towards them, and able to make them feel like they can ask questions around a tutor and get help is extremely important. Once they feel confident to ask any sort of questions about their subject, you will evidently be able to see improvement.Subjects Tutored 🎓
