Personally, I really love the joy on a students face when they begin to understand a concept that they were previously struggling with. I love working with individuals and trying to weave their interests into any content that is being learned. One of the aspects of tutoring that I try to do is to not only teach content, but also show students different ways to learn. Rather than wrote learning, it is so important to work with the individual student to discover what learning style suits them best and how you, as a tutor, can adjust your teaching style to fit their needs.
