What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students grow and improve throughout my time working with them. I feel like it is extremely rewarding when students begin to enjoy the subject more as a result of becoming better at it.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Achieving 98/100 for advanced maths in the HSC, I believe that I have a thorough understanding of the advanced maths curriculum and am therefore able to teach it comprehensively to students. I believe that I effectively communicate difficult ideas in a simplified manner and in a way that isn't daunting for students, as some teachers may do. I tutored a student for 2U maths throughout 2023 and saw his grades go up consistently.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important aspect is making the student feel comfortable and confident. Making sure they understand fundamental concepts and reiterating important ideas is key to ensuring this, rather than rushing through a set curriculum. Once a student is comfortable and confident in their ability, their results will begin to improve, from my experience
