What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is having those moments where the student fully grasps a concept and when they feel genuinely attended to. For me, I feel a sense of pride when I can successfully help a student understand certain things that they weren't able to.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that I have a few strengths which may be helpful as a tutor. I am a hard worker, I like to prepare material prior to lessons and to find new material for the student that I tutor. This is beneficial as it allows the student to have additional resources to refer to if needed. I am also a very patient person, so if there is confusion, I am able to stay patient and explain the concepts in different ways to make sure understanding is achieved.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is to be prepared, and to be attentive. Being prepared means to review the topic ahead of time to ensure full understanding can be conveyed between the tutor and the student, as well as preparing resources for revision of the subject at a later time. Being attentive means to listen and understand the feedback from the student. Each student understands things differently, and receiving feedback and communicating with your student is important to help the learning process.
